Basic CMS with Routing
I did a presentation for KC Web Pros on how to build a Basic CMS with URL Routing, the discussion included:
- The benefit of a CMS
- The way to create a simple interface
- Utilizing URL Routing for dynamic site generation and to help SEO
- Implementing Templates to reduce the number of .aspx pages
- Dynamically creating navigation for URL Routings

The challenge: Create a job tracker used to help organize the job search in one week!
- A companies page
- A job postings page
- A contacts page
- A communications page
Each page should have edit, insert and delete abilities.

Each page is equipped with inline editing for dynamic updates, which can be tested by clicking on the Site link below.
Easily-Editable Web Site Features:
- Front-page javascript slider to display projects.
- Projects page: projects lists and posts lists.
- Managing file uploads and linking of images.
- Managing many-to-many tables for "topics" for both projects and posts.

S.A.F.E. Group
This project has included development of a variety of features to meet the needs of a 250+ performers membership group:
- Performer Search Database
- Interface for users to access documents
- Peer to Peer document sharing
- Interface for customers to create "Groups" to display on the performer search page

Tricks of the Light
I perform with my wife as Tricks of the Light, an experience which continually hones my public speaking, presentation, and networking skills.
It is one thing to lead a meeting with a captive audience, but quite another to gain (and maintain) attention from passer-bys.
My time spent performing onstage has taught me how to keep individuals involved, attentive, and interactive in workplace discussions.
